Biography:
Fred Hampton was an African American activist and revolutionary. Hampton was an active member of the Black Panther Party quickly rising to a leadership position, becoming the deputy chairman of the Illinois chapter of the Party. Fred Hampton organized and established rallies, a breakfast program, and negotiated peace pacts among rival gangs in Chicago.
